Position Scope:

As a key member of the Redistribution Team, the Supply Chain Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing the Redistribution Leadership team with analytics to support our vision of expanding Core-Mark's redistribution network.

This individual will be responsible for consolidating data across various legacy ERPs and presenting this data in an executive format to support further growth within redistribution- including annual vendor business and profitability reviews, analyses for potential new and existing building projects, and strategic pricing analyses to ensure best in class customer service to our Operating Companies and ultimately our Retail Customers.

This role will report to the Senior Director of Redistribution and will be key in supporting our profitability and KPI achievement. In order to succeed in this role, this candidate will demonstrate a strong analytical skillset, a desire to improve existing processes and an ability to forge and maintain internal and external relationships.

Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with possible one day from home (post-training)

Compensation: $65k-$75k

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead vendor profitability reviews in support of vendor contract negotiations/renegotiations
  • Work cross-functionally with Core-Mark leaders on Purchasing and Operational KPI tracking and communication
  • Analyze complex financial and operational information to provide accurate and timely recommendations to management
  • Respond to non-routine analyses in support of division growth
  • Support the inbound logistics team in the optimization of network profitability
  • Primary liaison with corporate finance in management of and ownership of rebate accrual processes
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Economics, Finance or related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of business experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality results

  • Effective written, verbal communication skills

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
