Summary:

The Craft Substation Technician T&D will be under general supervision and performs the work in
the operation, construction, and maintenance of Electrical Substations and Battery Substations.

Requirements:
  • General construction of electrical substations.
  • Underground and above ground conduit.
  • Installs underground grounding systems.
  • Installs steel structures, electrical substations, and battery substations.
  • Installs MV/HV switches and other electrical equipment.
  • Assists in the layout and concrete placement of drilled peers.
  • Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
  • Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
  • Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
  • Installing ground grid.
  • Operating equipment.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED Required.
  • 1+ year working on electrical substations preferred.
  • Or Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Drivers License Required.
  • Ability to travel 5-15%.
  • Site layout
  • Place/finish concrete.
  • Install AG/BG conduit.
  • Pulling control cable/general knowledge of terminating.
  • Erecting steel structures.

Anticipated base salary range: $22.00- $27.00

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Per Diem of $100.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation.
