Job Summary:

This position is responsible for managing and monitoring pricing across all channels and customers, as well as developing robust pricing models and making recommendations to management. This position requires data management and analysis skills with a significant knowledge of Excel and PowerBI. A successful candidate must possess the ability to handle a diverse set of activities within a variety of systems.

Job Duties:

· Manage customer program pricing, marketing specials, and promotion discounts in coordination with Sales teams.

· Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to provide profit and margin analysis at a SKU, customer, channel, and program level.

· Analyze large sets of complex data, find key insights, and identify areas of opportunity for Pricing team to drive value.

· Apply pricing policies and procedures to review and update pricing based on program details, cost changes, sales trends, competitive pricing data, and profitability requirements.

· Identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies.

· Monitor cost changes and freight expense and adjust prices accordingly to maximize profitability, by working with Sales, Supply Chain, and Product teams.

· Understand competitive market and impact of pricing decisions by working closely with Sales and eCommerce organizations.

· Monitor competitor pricing for customer programs and SKU’s on a weekly and monthly basis.

· Maintain pricing and communicate to customers and Sales teams, using catalogs, websites, and spreadsheets.

· Work on special projects such as market pricing studies that provide the company with benefits and improved performance.

· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to identify and implement process improvements leading to improved productivity, decreased cost, or increased sales.

· Execute price changes in internal ERP and eCommerce listing systems.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, marketing, or equivalent.

· 5+ years of data-driven experience in pricing, accounting, marketing, finance, or supply chain.

· Attention to detail with strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

· Proactive interpersonal communication skills: written, verbal, influencing, negotiating.

· A self-starter with curiosity and potential to go beyond the described role as team responsibilities evolve.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

· Technology-oriented individual with advanced Excel skills including ability to manipulate and analyze large data files. Familiarity with ERP systems, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.

· Ability to quickly evaluate incoming work and manage priorities in time critical situations.

· Demonstrated ability to learn various computer systems.

· Knowledge of established accounting, purchasing and manufacturing practices.

· Ability to extract meaning and suggest action items from data, not just report metrics.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee may sit for prolonged periods of time.

Working Conditions:

Heated and air-conditioned office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
