Please review the following job description:

Oversee all RFP, RFI, and DDQ submissions for the firm as well as maintain the firm’s product data in consultant databases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of the proposal submission including the gathering, analysis, writing and packaging of all information within the designated deadline
  • Assume primary responsibility for the accuracy and consistency of the information contained within the proposal
  • Liaise with investment team members and other subject-matter-experts in creating and updating proposal responses
  • Develop a solid understanding of the firm’s products and investment processes
  • Assist the investment teams in developing proposed portfolios that fit the guidelines of the proposed mandate
  • Work alongside the firm’s performance and analytics department in distributing product information and data to consultant databases
  • Obtain a solid understanding of all compliance and regulatory requirements as it pertains to RFP submissions

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Four year bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance
  • 5-7 years of asset management RFP/ consultant database experience, preferably in fixed income
  • Excellent writing and editing skills required
  • Strong project management skills and organizational skills required
  • Strong analytical skills when handling statistical and financial information required
  • Solid computer skills with ability to learn and proficiently use several software packages, Excel and Word a must.
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and experience working under strict deadlines
  • Must be an effective multi-tasker.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with RFPIO, eVestment’s Omni product and FinSearches database
  • Strong understanding of fixed income
