The Mission
This position supports the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). Under the I2TS 3 task order, INSCOM ensures reliable, uninterrupted availability of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) including: networks, hardware, software, engineering, and specialized tools at the point of customer need to support INSCOM's mission. INSCOM and its MSCs provide the enabling layer to connect the Army and its tactical formations to defense and national intelligence agencies via tactical networks. The ability to provide mission critical intelligence is dependent on the successful use of its information technology (IT) networks worldwide.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our Team immediately for a position as a Senior Systems Administrator (SCCM). The Senior System Administrator will create, set up, and manage SCCM infrastructure to ensure it's ready for tasks like operating system deployment (OSD), package deployments, application catalog, and client policy updates.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Senior Enterprise Systems Manager (SCCM) will support and adhere to; manage, monitor and sustain: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager; Structured Query Language (SQL); and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM); provide Change Management (CM) and Enterprise Services Management System; and perform daily monitoring to ensure consistent, optimal performance
- Designs, builds, configures and administers SCCM infrastructure to ensure system is available for operating system deployment (OSD), package deployments, application catalog and client policy updates
- Manages all SCCM hierarchy configurations and supports all site system roles such as distribution points, application catalog, and database and SQL Reporting services
- Performs patching of server and appliance systems, by planning, testing, deploying, and monitoring system availability after patching is complete
- Ensure infrastructure servers are current with the most recent Microsoft and 3rd party patches using department's Change Management process and/or documenting results in ticketing system
- Create documentation for both technical and non-technical staff detailing standards, guidelines, communications and procedures required to operate and maintain network infrastructure patching responsibilities
- Designs, builds, configures and administers the enterprise SCOM test and production platforms
- Ensure SCOM is current with latest system builds, hotfixes, server operating systems, admin consoles and client updates using Department's Change Management process and/or documenting in ticketing system
- Provides application support for the SCOM platforms
- Creates and maintains monitoring and notification rules to meet infrastructure and business needs
- Document process and procedures for proper administration of the SCOM platforms
Qualifications/Experience:
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network administration and support
- Knowledge of related hardware and software
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 8 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on virtualization.
Certification(s):
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
- Required Security Environment Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent
- Computing Env: MCSA Server 2016 (Must obtain the full AZ104 Microsoft Azure Administrator within 180 days from start date.)
Location:
- On customer site (Hunter AAF/Savannah, Georgia)
Security Clearance:
- Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract
