Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Synchrony Health Services is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its Home Office team. This role reports to the Vice President of Operations Finance.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team. In
this role, you will play a critical part in our financial planning process, with a primary focus on developing
and maintaining our annual budget.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the company's annual budget, ensuring alignment
with strategic goals, focusing on Synchrony business - Rehabilitation, Pharmacy & Laboratory
Services.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to gather financial data, understand departmental needs, and
create accurate budget forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models using best practices and industry-standard tools.
  • Analyze historical financial data, industry trends, and economic factors to inform budget
assumptions.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual results, and
recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare clear and concise financial reports and presentations for senior management and
stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and financial reporting regulations.
  • May mentor and train junior financial analysts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor Degree
Experience: 5-8 years

Physical Requirement

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during
working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written
communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all
business associates outside of the health campus.s
