HR Shared Services provides tools, information and services that support the employee life cycle and deliver solutions that ensure a seamless user experience, allowing employees to focus on our clients. The team's purpose is to drive standardization and operational efficiency.

The Specialist, HR Operations – Total Rewards is responsible for resolving Total Rewards related cases submitted through our case management system, and partnering closely with other internal teams and external benefits’ providers.

This role is an individual contributor and will report to the Manager of HR Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building effective business partnerships with internal teams and benefit providers.
  • Handling invoices, funding, and wires for benefit providers.
  • Reviewing daily and weekly files to ensure that the data being provided to insurance providers is accurate.
  • Resolving incoming MyHR cases through ServiceNow, our HR case management platform, concerning sabbaticals, open enrollment, benefit plans, leave of absence, unemployment notifications and a variety of other areas.
  • Staying abreast of new benefits’ guidelines and changes to plans.
  • Cross-training with the broader Total Rewards teams and providing assistance, as necessary.
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy, communicating effectively, and delivering seamless service & support.
  • Maintaining and/or exceeding Service Level Agreements.
  • Developing subject matter expertise in a variety of benefits and total reward related areas.

This is a hybrid position, working out of our Westlake, TX location

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and/or equivalent HR work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience working within HR, focusing on Total Rewards, including: benefits, aspects of accommodations, leave of absence, time off, unemployment claims, and diablity benefit plans and programs.
  • Knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including FMLA and state and local laws.
  • Successful history of partnering with benefits’ providers as well as different internal teams across a large and complex organization.
  • Operational excellence with an emphasis on producing high-quality results.
  • Effective communicator, problem-solver, team member and results-focused individual.
  • Well-organized with the proven success working in a large-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet assigned target dates.
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of different HR systems such as Workday and ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency with HR systems (e.g. Workday, MyHR (ServiceNow), MyJobs (ICIMS) a plus.
