Who we are looking for
The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a key role in the quality assurance of AML Transaction Monitoring suite of applications. We are looking for someone who has proven experience with Data Engineering and automating complex applications. This role will be responsible for defining and maintaining an acceptance testing cycle that is common in an Agile process including automation. Candidate will be expected to attend daily scrum ceremonies and required to attend meeting with onshore and offshore teams to discuss/resolve impediments. Candidate should have willingness to learn new technologies and work under pressure with stringent timelines. Candidate should have good knowledge on Big Data testing technologies that includes Spark/Scala, Quantexa, Hive/impala, Data Bricks, AWS…etc.
What you will be responsible for
As Quality Assurance Engineer you will:
- Participate all agile meetings and co-ordinate with offshore/onshore teams.
- Work with users and developers to understand and develop the functional requirement and automate where it’s possible.
- Work closely with developers and quality assurance members to run test suites and research errors.
- Find ways to Automate through Data engineering process with new tools, strategies or techniques.
- Willing to learn new technologies and push the boundaries of test automation to achieve measurable efficiencies.

- Ability to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose issues within the quality assurance environment and communicate that knowledge to a varied audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in delivering multiple versions of one or more applications.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Engineering, Business or Technology preferred.
- Candidate should have 1 to 2 Yrs. of experience in Data Engineering or Automation Development experience .
- Hands on experience with Analytical Functions and complex queries
- Must have Knowledge on Spark and Scala, Hive/Impala and Data Bricks will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Financial domain is highly desirable (Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
- Should have good understanding of Agile methodology and Agile Ceremonies.
- Work with geographically distributed teams while maintaining highest standard in collaboration and communication across the teams.
- Team oriented attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Person must be self-motivated, self-driven, own and consider him/herself accountable for timely completion of deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving skills with great attention to details.

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $102,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
