Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze and transform requirements into manual and automated test processes.
- Work with development teams to help implement, optimize, and re-use test automation functions.
- Conduct detailed systems analysis to define fit for purpose test plan.
- Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures to attain quality software.
- Develop processes and procedures to test product requirements, use cases, and wireframes in the form of test cases and other documentation.
- Research market tools and/or develop the tools required for automated testing.
- Help to develop and maintain repeatable methods and standards for the entire testing process.
- Coach and mentor developers on testing methodology and best practices.
- Collaborate with Business and Technology partners to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and resolve escalated issues during the testing process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, along with 2-4 years of related experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field is preferred.
- Expertise and applied knowledge of Quality Assurance and Testing best practices
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Entry level programming skills
- Able to work independently and be a self-starter
- Experience working in an agile environment and two years working with automation is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and meet deadlines
- CQSA certification preferred.
Remote Work: Crown offers hybrid remote work for this position. A reasonable commute is necessary as some onsite work is required. Relocation assistance is available.
