Job Description


Core Data Solutions maintains the master data for Intel, ensuring best availability and quality in the data catalogs across all the company. Our group is looking for a Senior Software Developer that will work implementing Finance Master functionalities.


As an Software Developer your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Work together with Stakeholders, architects and software Engineers from different domains to implement, test and deploy solutions for the Finance Master Data domain and Work end to end in their implementation.

  • Designing, developing, testing, and debugging Master Data solutions that will be used by end users or integrated with other applications. Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development.

  • Use modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follow secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyze user stories, write both functional and test code, automate build and deployment, and to perform unit integration and end to end testing of applications. You will also be required to complete SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

  • Interact with end users and stakeholder to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications


The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics and 6+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics and 3+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics and 1+ year of experience in:

  • SAP ERP systems

  • SAP Finance Master Data Governance Module OR SAP ERP Central Finance Module

  • Finance Concepts: Company Code, GL Accounts, Cost Center, Profit Centers, Hierarchies, Currency OR Exchange Rate

Preferred Qualifications


  • Finance Concepts like Finance Close and Reporting.

  • SAP Platform configuration like: Transports, APIs Management, SAP Data structures.

  • Agile and Scrum Concepts.

  • Problem solving Methodologies

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $144,501.00-$217,311.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
