Summary:

Senior Quality Assurance Analyst experienced in Manual and Automated testing, equipped with a proven track record of ensuring top-tier software quality. Proficient in crafting test plans, executing comprehensive test cases, and leveraging advanced SQL queries to uncover hidden defects. Test and support medium-to-high complexity applications and technical integrations to meet the needs of the organization. Have professional interactions and business relationships with business operations, information technology, leadership, system users and vendors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, design and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations.
  • Use plans to assess functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other systems.
  • Work collaboratively within the IT department and business units to execute and validate test cases based on system requirements.
  • Utilize strong working experience and knowledge of manual and automated testing processes, and QA tools.
  • Work independently on own projects, but also assist with mentoring and training of more junior members on the QA team.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size.
  • Identify opportunities to prevent bugs from occurring in the first place.
  • Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
  • Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable.
  • Work in a small team (2 Sr. QA & 1 Jr QA)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of software QA experience, mostly in Manual testing.
  • Must have Manual testing experience and Automation testing experience.
  • Must have SQL skills writing SQL queries.
  • Some experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related area or equivalent combination of experience and education.
