SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER - HOOPESTON, IL
OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Human Resources Manager for Teasdale, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our human capital across multiple sites. You will oversee HR operations, policies, and strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives and foster a positive work environment.
This position requires travel between 25 and 50 percent of the time to various production facilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Serve as the primary HR leader for your home location and lead HR teams in multiple locations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
- Oversee recruitment and staffing processes for your facilities to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling in both union and non-union settings.
- Collaborate with management to assess and anticipate HR-related needs and formulate effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal policies across all sites.
- Implement performance management systems to drive employee productivity and development.
- Drive compensation and benefits programs to maintain competitiveness in the industry.
- Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and engagement.
- Conduct regular site visits to build relationships, address HR concerns, and assess operational needs.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior management in driving organizational effectiveness and culture.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an HR manager in a manufacturing or food industry setting.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR teams.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness to travel between company sites (25-50% of the time).
