Full Job Description
Project Genesis seeks a Senior Human Resource Executive to provide leadership in developing and executing human resources strategies. Working with the CEO, executive team, and the Board of Directors, the Senior Human Resource Executive provides strategic leadership by articulating Human Resource needs and plans. The ideal candidate has a:
Responsibilities:
1. Establish and implement HR efforts to support the organization’s mission and strategic vision.
2. Function as a strategic business advisor regarding key organizational and management issues.
3. Establish a plan of management succession alongside the executive team and Board of Directors that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the organization.
4. Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human resource needs of strategic goals.
5. Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefit plans that are competitive and cost effective for the organization.
6. Provides advice and counsel to managers regarding employee relations issues.
7. Lead HR investigative activities and either directly conduct investigations or oversee others to ensure investigations are conducted and concluded appropriately.
8. Implement and maintain HRIS and ATS. Maintain and report on key staffing metrics.
9. Ensure all new hire and existing employee background screening requirements are kept up to date, followed, and done in accordance with state and federal requirements.
10. Train managers and employees on a variety of related topics.
11. Review personnel policies and procedures regularly, recommend and implement necessary changes, and interpret existing policies, referring questions to higher authority as needed.
12. Ensure the organization is compliant with related regulations surrounding required postings, affirmative action plans, EEO reporting, and employment law developments.
