- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Amazon seeks an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role on the Amazon Devices Finance Team. Over the past decade Amazon has developed a number of market-leading, innovative, and fast-growing digital and mobile businesses including Kindle, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, and Echo. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded candidate who wants to work in a start-up like environment, is passionate about hardware and digital experiences, and is interested in directly supporting new emerging products.
The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial by nature, analytical in approach, have a demonstrated ability to develop financial models that provide intelligence for business decisions, and be able to leverage their project management skills to drive business objectives. This role requires a self-starter with superb business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a track record of being an advisor to the business. The candidate must have the aptitude to incorporate new approaches and methodologies (including statistical concepts) and be able to develop and define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions.
This role also has regular interaction with various business units across Amazon and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Key job responsibilities
- Create and implement revenue and cost models to be incorporated into business reviews
- Project manage financial deliverables aligned to business objectives
- Financial Planning & Analysis, both near and long term forecasts
- Create and implement financial and operating performance metrics, identifying key call outs and drivers to senior management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
