Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting our company's financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This individual will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger, performing financial analysis, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Analyst Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with management and department heads to provide insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Analyze financial results, highlighting trends and variances from budget, and provide actionable insights to management.
  • General Ledger and Reconciliations: Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and reconciling transactions. Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of comprehensive budgets and forecasts. Work closely with department heads to gather inputs and align budgets with strategic objectives. Monitor performance against budget, providing analysis and recommendations.
  • Financial Controls and Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements. Enhance and maintain internal controls over financial processes and reporting.
  • Strategic Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic projects and initiatives. Provide financial modeling and analysis for new business opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and investment decisions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to support and improve financial and operational performance. Provide financial expertise and insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies within the finance function. Lead and implement projects to enhance financial systems and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree in business administration (MBA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in financial software applications and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel:Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
