- Drive supply chain initiatives that enable speed, flexibility, and agility to optimize service and inventory levels that ensure product availability to meet enterprise and Supply Chain business plan objectives.
- Maintain long-term perspective to provide vision and leadership in areas of process improvements and cost reduction.
- Lead the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process and leverage process to drive improvement across the end-to-end supply chain organization.
- Lead the process to provide input and justification into the annual budget needs relating to supply chain planning and operations.
- Drive for improvement in inventory, production management, transportation and cost by leveraging key performance indicators/metrics.
- Accountable for outsourced vendor and supplier management responsible for ensuring consistent high quality and standardized operations and contracted service level agreements are being followed.
- Serve as a champion and subject matter expert for operations, elevating the understanding and knowledge of operations with your peers/key stakeholders.
- Use customer and supply chain knowledge and relationships to identify service, cost and growth opportunities.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Implement processes that support business strategies adapted to changing conditions, new business opportunities and/or cost reduction strategies.
- Collaborate cross functionally to set standards in master data management (MDM) to ensure a common understanding, consistency, accuracy and control in the ongoing maintenance and application use of information.
- Advanced working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or proven ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
