Overview
SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking a Senior Database Analyst/Programmer in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The desired candidate for the database administrator (DBA) will become part of a customer focused team responsible for the ongoing maintenance and documentation of database components supporting critical information systems and enterprise end users.
Essential Job Duties
- Maintenance and documentation of database components supporting critical information systems and enterprise end users.
- Continual care of the databases as required to ensure that applications and databases operate at peak performance, with integrity, and are as secure as possible.
- Applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG’s) tracking the DB’s security compliance and troubleshooting are vital to this position.
- Proficiently documenting their process for DB optimizations, troubleshooting and new builds.
- Adapt to changing environments, display initiative, good judgment, and have a positive attitude.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Active in scope SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain Interim SECRET eligibility
- HS +6 years, AA/AS +4 of similar experience, or BS/BA +2
- An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required at start & maintained/current in good standing
- Microsoft SQL Server or other related database certifications within 180 days of start date
- Excellent team skills, must be thorough, must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
- Demonstrate initiative and be results oriented with flexibility and tenacity
- Demonstrate the ability to continuously adjust priorities to reflect changing circumstances
- Ability to work in a dynamic cross-organizational team environment
- Strong dedication to provide quality customer service

- Ability to manage own projects including communications to customers as well as work as part of a larger team managed by a project manager.

- Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly identify the cause of issues with the system or determine if other teams need to be included in resolving an issue
Work Environment
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Work will be performed on-site and designated at locations identified in the PWS.

- May require periods of non-traditional working hours including overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary.
