BlueLinx is looking to expand their HR Team in Atlanta. BlueLinx is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst that will provide advanced analytical and project support designing, delivering, and administering compensation strategies. The Senior Compensation Analyst will have programs including commission calculations, bonus administration, job documentation, job classifications, job evaluations, salary surveys and ad hoc reporting. The Senior Compensation Analyst works under the Director, Compensation to plan, develop and enhance compensation programs at the corporate level and across company.

This position is located in Atlanta near Truist Park (top end 75/285), and we have a hybrid work structure with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office.
Daily Focus:
- Participates in the design, development, installation, modification and administration of base pay, variable/bonus pay and sales incentive compensation programs, policies, and procedures to ensure competitive and equitable compensation programs across the company.
- Research, analyze and prepare advanced statistical queries, reports, and documents for complex market studies, trend analyses, and the development and implementation of compensation or incentive programs.
- Performs job evaluation, survey participation, salary planning, as well as market and equity analysis.
- Identify compensation-related problems and partner with managers to recommend corrective or alternative actions.
- Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position.
Previous experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited University – analytical degree is a plus. Masters is a nice bonus.
- PHR, SPHR or CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) a plus
- 4 plus years of experience in compensation related areas. 3+ years with a master’s degree
- Strong background in compensation administration and Total Reward policies and programs.
- Sales incentive experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of market analysis, salary structures and job evaluation and creation process.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant tools / technology.
- Excellent proficiency in Access and Excel.
- Comfort with HRIS systems (we use Ceridian Dayforce) and comfortable creating reports.
- Ability to analyze/interpret data and understand internal controls, standards, and processes.
- Comfortable challenging status quo to implement better process and be a driver of change.
- Strong Communication with the C-suite, as well as branch leadership. Communication will lead to solid support.
- Exceptional data analysis, logical thought processes and deductive reasoning ability.
- Detail oriented with excellent planning/organizational skills.
