The Satellite Branch Office Manager is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the branch office. The SBOM is responsible for managing all aspects of the business including the growth of revenue, the recruiting of Financial Advisors, risk management and the bottom-line profitability of the branch. The Satellite Branch Office Manager is a best practicing Financial Advisor who leads by example.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for all supervision as required by firm policy and procedure.
  • Develop a communication plan within the branch to ensure that firm news and communication is reaching all Financial Advisors
  • Remain knowledgeable of all industry rules and regulations as well as firm policy and procedures.
  • Works closely with the Financial Advisors and Complex Director to develop individual business plans to increase productivity and growth.
  • Coordinate all firm resources to facilitate the professional development of the Financial Advisors and the branch staff.
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure that the Janney brand is visible in the community.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years of related financial services management experience
  • Professional Licenses: Series 7, 63,65, or 66, 9, 10, or 24 licenses
  • Ability to motivate; leads and inspires branch office FAs and support staff.
  • A strong understanding of the financial services regulatory landscape
  • Establish and foster strong community relations.
  • Ability to coordinate efforts with all areas of branch operations and home office.
  • Continually fosters team spirit among throughout the branch, particularly between FAs and support staff.

The compensation package for this position consists of a base salary, (with eligibility for additional compensation from recruiting efforts) as well as eligibility to participate in all company benefits offered by Janney to full-time employees including health, dental, medical coverage, disability income protection, life insurance, PTO/vacation, holidays, and 401(k). The salary range for this position will be $50,000 to $125,000. Total compensation packages at Janney are based on experience, skills, credentials, and geographical location, of each specific candidate.
