The Master Data Administrator is responsible for ensuring SAP vendor and customer master data is up-to-date and in compliance with company practices and policies. This position interfaces with various levels of management and reports directly to the Supply Chain Advisor. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the data.
What We Are Seeking:
Essential Duties / Functions
1. Maintain the safety and security of the organization's network database, ensuring the correct data integration and processing, and monitoring the feasibility of data requirements
2. An understanding of and adherence to master data governance, policies, and procedures
3. Review of incoming requests for completeness and accuracy
4. Develop and maintain data quality control procedures
5. Perform regular audits of data to ensure accuracy and completeness
6. Understanding of Risk Management
7. Assisting with internal/external audit activities
8. Identification and appropriate follow up of opportunities for increased accuracy, efficiencies, standardization, and rationalization of master data
9. Ensuring accuracy and proper storage of Tax and Banking documentation
10. Meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements regarding timeliness of processing vendor data new / change requests
11. Identification and support of vendor data cleansing activities
12. Supports Supply Chain and Finance-Accounts Payable with vendor management including new vendor set-up and changes to the vendor maste
13. Responsible for the resolution of any problems or issues arising
14. Excellent customer service while interfacing with customers and suppliers
15. Maintains documentation and records per records retention policy
16. Responsible for updating process guidelines and procedures related to job role
17. Identifies, develops, and implements opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements
18. Develops, implements, and monitors KPI’s/control reports
19. Ensures controls are in place to prevent conflicts of interest
