- Demonstrates proficiency in accurately and efficiently testing, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on various process and compression systems
- Coordinates and assists with scheduled and unscheduled equipment testing needs
- Possesses a strong knowledge of comprehensive electrical, mechanical, diagnostic and analytical skills
- Help in developing standard operating procedures to ensure the highest quality of product is sent to the customer.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Engine schools/Training or experience working on CAT 3500 and 3600 engines and Waukesha family of engines
- Compressor Schools/Training or experience working on Ariel, Dresser Rand, Frick, Howden and Mycom compressors
- Must be able to work independently as well as lead a group
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to read and understand Enerflex P&ID and Electrical drawings
- Experience in 5S lean manufacturing
- 5 years of relevant production and equipment related experience and/or training
- 5 years experience with PLC, Murphy and Altronic controls, ADEM III, CAT and Waukesha engines
- Thorough knowledge of compressor packages including all components and systems as well as production equipment, also electrical systems including panel boards, skid wiring, annunciator panels, etc…
- Thorough knowledge of electrical test equipment including 4 – 20mA signal generator, process meters, HART communicators and other instrument testing tools
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
