Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products through various testing and inspection processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform sampling and inspection of materials and product, collect and analyze data trends, use mainframe computer for entry and analysis, and produce reports on a personal computer.

Examine manufacturing processes to determine their quality level.

Reviews records for materials, equipment and processes

Analyzes data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls and lack of compliance with management policies or procedures.

Prepares reports for findings and recommendations for management.

Conducts special studies for management such as those required to discover causes of detected failures and to develop controls for failure prevention

Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Process customer returns with problem solving

Performs LAT testing and Customer Certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of company policies and procedures

Ability to effectively function as a team player

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to draw and interpret graphs.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Knowledge of a personal computer.

Educations and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
