We are looking for a Quality Control Technichian to oversee the production process. Ensure that all metal products meet quality expectations and comply with the safety regulations of our company. Responsibilities include examining shipments of inventory and raw materials , measuring the specifications of random metal products in each production run, and training team members to refine production quality.

Job Description:

• Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming metal materials from vendors and outgoing metal products for shipping.
• Reject all metal products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
• Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of metal products and services.
• Measure metal product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final metal product to the specifications.
• Recommend improvements to the metal production process to ensure quality control.
• Teach the metal production team about quality control concerns to improve metal product excellence.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Certification in quality control is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a metal manufacturing production line.
• Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure metal product specifications.
• Strong understanding of metal quality control standards and testing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Blueprint reading capabilities.
• Documentation and reporting skills.
