Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous Construction QA/QC inspector to join our project specific team. Project contract duration is 1 year. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the QA/QC processes.

You will be required to resume immediately.

Responsibilities:

Implement, monitor, adjust construction processes during construction activities and coordinate with the design quality manager to ensure that the elements of project QMP are followed during construction activities

Coordinate and schedule special inspections with 3rd party agencies and also perform process control including field inspection of work in progress and inspections that are not classified as special inspections

Perform all required internal and external audits

Inspect material deliveries, maintain track-able records and prepare monthly quality documentation as required by the contract

Perform and participate in subcontractor and vendor source inspections and ensure that subcontractors follow and comply with the contractor's approved QMP

Experience:

- Proven experience in construction quality control

-Working with the the MTA, and other rail agencies
- Familiarity with analyzing data and generating reports
- Knowledge of precision measuring tools and techniques
- Understanding of QA/QC methodologies and processes
