Brannan Companies is seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Ready Mixed Concrete facility in the Denver Area. Position responsibilities include Testing and adjusting Concrete mix designs at the plant or at a project, running material gradations, Job site QC support.

Position Summary:

The Quality Control Technician Position is responsible for Daily testing of our concrete mix designs and making adjustments to assure it meet’s the project specifications. Testing our aggregate material from the plant to insure it meets the specifications. Ability to work various hours and weekends in all-weather environments. Additional responsibilities include housekeeping, and other duties as needed.

Job requirements include but are not limited to:

· Follow safety rules, regulations, and procedures as required by company policies

· Demonstrate a positive work ethic towards fellow co-workers, peers, and customers

· Able to work various hours including nights and weekends

· Good communication skills and safety conscious

· Ability to work in inclement weather

· Highly reliable, team player, who demonstrates a positive work ethic towards fellow employees, peers, and customers

· Must have a valid Driver’s License

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical, which will include a background check

Minimum Education and Experience

· High School Diploma or GED equivalency

· 2 years’ experience in the concrete/ construction industry preferred

· ACI Field certified Preferred

Knowledge and Skills

· Must be able to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percentages,

· Ability to establish effective and diverse working relationships with other employees

· Ability to identify and solve problems, develop and select action plans, and make decisions with minimal supervision

· Ability to understand and follow written and oral work instructions and work independently with little or no supervision

· Must have the ability to plan, organize, and prepare accurate records and be a self-starter with little or no supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
