General Construction Quality Assurance Manager helps create, plan, manage, and enforce our Quality Assurance Program for the Company, in particular, the Structural Steel Division, by identifying potential issues, then creating/implementing a specific plan in order to eliminate any errors that could result in a quality deficient product.
Essential Functions
- Enforce the F. A. Wilhelm Construction Quality Assurance Program
- Understand the Quality Assurance needs for all scopes of work which is performed including excavation, concrete, masonry, steel and building enclosures
- Specific to the AISC Program:
- Maintain the AISC Certification for the Wilhelm Steel Division for both Fabrication and Advanced Structural Steel Erector
- Implement and provide continuous improvement of the Wilhelm Steel Division Quality Assurance program
- Ensure the Quality Assurance program is updated to stay in conformance with the requirements of the AISC Certification program
- Facilitate the annual AISC management review meeting
- Develop and ensure that the inspection and testing programs are executed and follows the AISC certification requirements
- Ensure that all personnel working on the project understand the construction methods and code requirements.
- Education And Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 – 10 years of Quality Assurance Management experience in construction or similar industry
Skills And Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of general construction methods
- Thorough knowledge of the AISC Fabrication and Erection Requirements
- Experience in Quality & Inspection of Structural Steel
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA standards
- CWI is helpful, but not required
- Bachelor of Science Degree
- Minimum OSHA 10 Hour Certification.

Pay: $54,059.31 - $65,103.69 per year
