Essential Functions
Quality Systems and Standards:
- Implement and execute comprehensive quality management systems to ensure adherence to established standards.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections and assessments throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished goods.
- Support and implement testing procedures and protocols to evaluate product quality against established benchmarks.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify and address potential quality issues proactively.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance product quality.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing quality performance metrics and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date on relevant quality regulations and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable quality standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed quality documentation to support audits and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
- Advocate for a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Identify and implement effective solutions to improve quality control processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with a commitment to quality excellence.
Education, experience, certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- In lieu of degree, a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a quality assurance, quality control, process improvement, or manufacturing role.
- Understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
Physical & Mental Demands:
- Ability to travel 25% of the time, at minimum.
