hybrid :position and we're looking for this person to come into the Rocky Hill, CT office

QA Analyst Overview::
Ebbo is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our QA team in IT operations department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring the quality of software products through meticulous testing and analysis. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and reporting software defects to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities of QA Analyst::
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure functional testing of software applications.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for APIs based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify software defects and verify fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams results to facilitate knowledge sharing and future testing efforts.
- Proficient in back-end process-based testing including ability to query databases.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies for requirement reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives etc. to provide input on testability and quality considerations.
- Provide support for troubleshooting and debugging issues in test and production environments.
- Maintain and communicate testing timelines, schedules, and status reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies and best practices.
Skills & Experience of QA Analyst::
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of industry experience as QA Analyst and/or API tester.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger or RestAPI is must.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter/Blazemeter.
- Experience with SQL and ability to validate data for test result accuracy
- Experience with Jira, TFS (DevOps) or other task collaborations tools.
- Experience with any cloud platform – AWS, Azure is desired.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is a plus.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced start-up like environment.
