PRODUCTION MANAGER (Manufacturing, CABLE ASSEMBLY, PLASTIC INSERT MOLDING)

Job Title: Production Line Team Lead – plastic injection molding

Qualifications: Education

High School Diploma or G.E.D. or Equivalent. Must read/write and understand English.

Experience:

Experience as a Production Manager or Production Supervisor in a manufacturing company, and with Plastic Injection & Insert Molding experience required. Team leadership and production management experience also required. This new position will oversee the plastics insert molding production line, and cable assembly lines. Knowledge of post-molding operations and ERP systems management is expected. Experience and knowledge of reading assembly/engineering drawings and strong ERP/Manufacturing systems experience required. Track record of managing a team to deliver top quality and attention to detail a must.

Responsibilities:

Team leader for Assembly and Plastic Injection/Insert Molding groups

Produce products to meet customer’s specifications and meet delivery deadlines.

Knowledge and experience setting up and tear down injection molds according to established procedures.

Strong organizational, planning and team management skills

Physical ability: 30 lb lifting requirement

Experience with managing ERP and document management systems and procedures.
