Better Brands Inc. is a food processing facility specializing in a diverse range of frozen, ready-to-eat foods. Founded in 2017, our company has experienced substantial growth each year and is actively expanding our product offerings. Better Brands Inc. is currently seeking an energetic and dedicated individual to fill a full-time position as a Production Manager assistant who will assist the production manager in all activities relating to production.

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

● Responsible for overseeing all activities relating to production in coordination with the production manager.

● Process-oriented individual who will assist the production manager, becoming an expert on all products, manufacturing processes, and machinery

● Assist with ensuring optimum productivity and timely completion of orders while ensuring quality, consistency and safety

● Effectively lead and develop team members

● Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions

Candidates must have the ability to work a schedule that can include long hours and overtime in a highly dynamic environment.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following competencies:

● Ability to drive a forklift and pallet jacks

● Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

● Experience with, and sound knowledge of food manufacturing

● Mechanically inclined

● Basic computer and organizational skills

● Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability

● Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, time-sensitive tasks simultaneously

Minimum requirements include:

● Fluent in English/Spanish required

● 5+ years in a manufacturing environment required

● Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

● Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Adobe Acrobat

● Valid driver’s license

● High school degree or equivalent

Hours & Salary

Monday – Thursday: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

Friday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

$70,000 - $80,000

Physical Requirements:

· Requires periods of walking and sitting and working at a computer

Benefits:

· 2 Weeks Paid vacation.

· 40 hours paid sick leave.

· Paid Holiday on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, July 4th, and various Jewish Holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Albany, NY 12205: Relocate before starting work (Required)
