Position Summary:

The Procurement Finance Manager will act as a liaison between Purchasing operations and every respective finance function (Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, etc.). This Manager will provide STARPLUS ENERGY with the function to ensure processes and procedures are developed and followed as appropriate. This position reports to the Finance Director.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop the purchasing finance processes, reports, and analytics
  • Review contracts prior to granting approvals as well as any contract changes
  • Raw data translation and analysis from SAP and DB2 data tables using Qlik Sense and Tableau
  • KPI tracking and reporting including preparing annual budgets
  • Compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), SPE Group internal control policies, and external audit requirements.
  • Actively participating in sourcing process and providing approvals from Finance perspective
  • Explaining variances for raw materials and hedging for metals, PGM, chemicals, steel resale program and scrap steel recovery
  • Raw material trend analysis, what-if studies, for impacting current and future product costs, forecast development, actuals reporting, executive reporting as well as quarterly analyst financial calls
  • Perform other position related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Purchasing, Cost Accounting, or Finance
  • Ability to plan, develop, implement and measure results

Preferred:

  • Prior supervisory and leadership experience
  • Exposure to Product Cost Study
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data
  • SAP Experience
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal abilities, effectively engaging with individuals at various organizational levels

  • Ability to work in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

Compensation: 94K-135K
Additional Details : Salary within the posted range is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
