IMPORTANT INFORMATION

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
As part of the application process, Police Officer Trainee applicants are required to complete the POST Entry Level Law Enforcement Test Battery (PELLETB - written test) and the POST Work Sample Test Battery (WSTB - physical agility test) and a 1.5 mile run.

Applications must include Pellet-B and WSTB score dated within one year.

Select police academies will administer these specific written and physical agility tests.

The Police Officer Trainee classification is an at-will, full-time unrepresented employee with benefits limited to "family medical" as defined in the Police Officers Association Memorandum of Understanding. Upon successful completion of the academy, Police Trainees will be eligible for appointment to Police officer with the attendant salary and benefits offered to members of the POA.
