Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs all activities necessary to process weekly payroll. Responsible for maintaining all relevant information, files and records for this activity. Assist employees with questions or issues related to pay.
- Provides benefits administration assistance to employees, including responsibility for open enrollment in the plant.
- Manages the talent acquisition process for plant based personnel; identification of current and future talent needs, internal and external recruiting, to include management of external recruiting partners, retention, and succession planning.
- Provides exceptional employee relations to all plant based employees throughout the employment life cycle.
- Manages all Leaves of Absence for plant based personnel.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company Vision.
- Maintains complete and accurate employee personnel and medical records/files.
- Conducts internal investigations and advises plant management on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues and concerns.
- Provides guidance to plant management regarding employee disciplinary actions, terminations and performance improvement plans.
- Assists in creating and implementing learning and development initiatives to provide internal development opportunities for all employees.
- Supports the Company Vision through active participation in plant and/or corporate Vision Committee, including coordination of community and employee events.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law; recommends changes and improvements to current polies and practices.
- Serves as coordinator on all safety related issues.
- Responsible for plant petty cash disbursement and reconciliation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, degree in related field preferred.
- One to three years of relevant work experience required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Intermediate analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills required.
- Microsoft Office skills required.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work with limited supervision.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
