Educator
The Personal Training Coach role at Anytime Fitness is a motivated individual who seeks to empower members and clients to improve their lives through fitness, nutrition and recovery. This position helps grow our Personal Training program by working in a creative, fun, and upbeat atmosphere where each day is different. This role includes training individuals, continuously marketing to new clients, maintaining the clubs day-to-day operations and hitting monthly KPIs as part of the team. This individual will report directly to the Club Manager.
Fitness Consultations
- This role conducts fitness consultations for new members, which include: goal setting, a body scan and fitness assessment, sample workout, and recommendation of our training programs
Training Sessions
- Delivering a high-quality, pre-programmed 1-on-1 with encouragement energy
- Understanding that you are in a position to gain client’s respect while instructing them, limiting time on phone or speaking to other individuals in the club
- Sessions should always include discussions about client’s personal life, nutrition habits, activity outside of training sessions and goals
- Trainer works with management for coverage of clients when planning of time off, if coverage cannot be provided, trainer picks up where they left off when they return
Educator
- Personal Trainers educate clients on safe and effective training regimens, the “why” behind them, provide nutrition guidance and promote recovery
Results Driver
- This individual drives client success through session attendance and progression
- Understands how to administer body scan technology and interpret results
- Engages with Smart Coaching Ecosystem platforms to assist and motivate clients outside of the club
- Provides excellent customer service through member engagement and client accountability
- Highlights successes and accomplishments as a result of client’s hard work and consistency
Personal, Team and Company Goals
- This individual is responsible for achieving monthly personal training KPI goals established by the management team.
- Partners alongside member sales team members to promote membership growth
- Provides feedback and strategy to team in order to hit KPIs prior to month end
- Attends weekly and monthly team meetings
Office Hours
- This role is responsible for office hours that will include the execution of day to day operations with memberships as well as marketing responsibilities that will continue to drive new business. Office hours involve customer service with current members, maintaining the friendly and supportive atmosphere, and being aware of the time spent socializing.
- This time is something that is scheduled within the calendar and that you will be expected to show up for (>5 minutes prior to scheduled time). This time also includes side work prior to exiting the building for the day/evening.
- This time is used to complete all follow ups with members and prospects through the Club Os Dashboard, answering phone calls, text messages, emails and voicemails as well as the doorbell.
- This time is used to work on projects that have been assigned to you by Club Manager and to provide the manager with a project update prior to leaving, verbally, via email or text message.
- When in office, it is your responsibility to maintain club cleanliness
Cleanliness
- Ensures facility cleanliness and tidiness to perform job most effectively
- Follows managers guidance as to how equipment should always be displayed
- Equipment pick up is always completed when walking through club to ensure the clean and tidy reputation
Continued learner
- Demonstrates a drive for career development through continued education and leadership opportunities and remains current on certifications, CPR/First Aid, and new trends in the industry.
Qualifications
- Accredited Strength & Conditioning or Personal Training Certification or certified within 60 days of employment
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified or become certified within 30 days of employment
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of fitness, endurance training, strength / power training and program design, using the tools given to optimize client results
- Strong ability to coach and manage time, motivating multiple clients in a group setting
- Ability to work with clients from all walks of life, abilities and goals.
- Appetite for delivering coaching services virtually through in-app messaging, video chatting and more.
- Strong communication skills and team player
- Flexible schedule, days / nights and weekends
Preferred Requirements
- 1 year of personal training experience
- Previous sales experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
