Summary

We are looking for a goal-oriented, passionate Exercise and Movement Specialist (Personal Trainer) to join our team. As an Exercise and Movement Specialist, you will help motivate and inspire our clients in achieving their health and fitness goals. By providing tailored personal training services including in-person assessments and 1:1 training sessions, you will offer clients the ability to maximize their workouts while improving efficiency, fitness, stamina, and their overall sense of well-being.

Our Exercise and Movement Specialists are responsible for providing a highly personalized experience for their clients, as well as meeting productivity and revenue goals. As a personal trainer on our team, you will service complimentary training sessions, in-person assessments, personal training sessions, and virtual training sessions. The ultimate focus of this role is to engage clients and encourage their participation in all of the services provided by WellWay, while providing an extraordinary workout experience.

All members of the Health Services team collaborate to support clients and members in reaching their health and fitness goals.

Responsibilities:

● Assessment of clients utilizing our proprietary assessment protocol, including a 3D body scan and digital movement technology

● Support clients through their onboarding experience
● Deliver complimentary initial assessments and complimentary personal training sessions for clients

● Develop safe, engaging, and effective personal training recommendations for clients
● Provide accurate administration of the various sessions we offer
● Promote the sale and service of all health services provided at WellWay, including supplements, working with a Wellness Advisor, lab testing, and any future services provided

● Arrive on time for training appointments and service them within the scheduled time frame

● Ensure clients remain motivated and are satisfied with their workout recommendations
● Demonstrate sales success by meeting and/or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly client acquisition and retention goals

● Resolve client issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner, elevating issues when appropriate

● Perform various housekeeping duties including maintaining the cleanliness of fitness floor and its equipment

● Engage in lead generation activities (off site events, internal events, etc.)
● Complete administrative tasks, including but not limited to charting, client emails, program design, prepping for meetings, etc. in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or related field- highly preferred

● Nationally recognized Personal Training certification – highly preferred
● Sales experience - highly preferred
● Experience in designing personalized workouts for clients, minimum of 6 months experience preferred

● Experience in movement assessment
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends
● Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
