Performance Coach and Trainer
Job Overview:
At Prepare for Performance, we help athletes and adults become their best selves through expert training and support. We’re looking for a coach who’s ready to inspire, teach, and lead our clients to achieve their goals. Our team needs someone who loves sports, knows how to train hard, and can pay close attention to the small stuff that makes a big difference.
What You'll Do:
- Be a Coach: Work with our clients, giving them your full attention and helping them get better every day. You'll teach them, cheer for them, and be there to see them succeed.
- Build Your Business: Attract new clients and keep our current ones happy and engaged. You'll be the face of Prepare for Performance, showing everyone why we're the best at what we do.
- Stay Safe and Smart: Make sure everyone trains the right way, using equipment safely, and learning the best moves to improve.
- Be a Team Player: Join in on our efforts to make Prepare for Performance known everywhere as the top place for getting better at sports. Use your smarts and creativity to help us stand out.
- Learn and Grow: Keep learning new things to make yourself and our team even better. We want you to grow with us!

Physical Stuff:
- You’ll be moving around a lot, showing exercises, and sometimes moving equipment. It’s active work that keeps you on your feet.
Tech Savvy:
- We use some cool tools and tech to help our clients. You’ll get to learn how to use things like Speed gates, vertical jump assessment, velocity based training, and more to help everyone train better.
What You Need to Have:
- at least 1 year experience coaching or training, especially with kids and adults
- Undergraduate degree in exercise science, human movement, kinesiology is a plus.
- Certified with on oe the following organizations NASM, NSCA, ACE.
- You are CPR/AED certified.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
