Job Description:

At Focusmaster Fitness, we are a locally owned and operated fitness studio that earned national acclaim our innovative results-based workouts which earned us the title of "America’s Next Fitness Phenomenon" following our victory on the TV show Sweat Inc. We are currently seeking a dynamic Personal Trainer / Fitness Coach to join our vibrant team in Troy, NY. This role is perfect for someone passionate about fitness, skilled in leading high-energy personal training, small group and group workouts, and committed to transforming lives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement personalized fitness programs for clients along with running Focusmaster small group and group sessions.
Conduct fitness assessments to establish client fitness and skill level.
Provide clear instructions during fitness classes and personal training sessions.
Keep track of client progress and adapt programs as needed.
Ensure a positive, energetic environment that motivates clients to reach their fitness goals.

Qualifications:

Certified in Personal Training or Group Fitness from a nationally accredited organization (ACE, NSCA, AFAA, NASM preferred).
Experience in boxing or kickboxing preferred, but willing to train the right person
Proven ability to lead group fitness classes and provide excellent customer service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week

Experience:

  • training or running fitness classes: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Personal Training Certification Currently (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Troy, NY 12180: Relocate before starting work (Required)
