Personal Trainer
OVERVIEW
As a Personal Trainer, your goal is to help people achieve their health and fitness goals, in a structured, safe, fun, and motivating environment.
You will need to have the right fitness qualifications and certifications, as well as be service-oriented, recognizing that you are not only delivering a service but being a trusted coach for customers in their fitness journey.
YOUR MISSION
To design and run classes that will motivate customers to surpass their current fitness level
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design classes that are challenging and goal-specific, regardless of type of exercise
- Program and structure the full duration of each class in advance
- Conduct appropriate warm-up and cool down exercises at the start and end of classes
- Assist customers who need help or modifications without embarrassing them
- Be available to answer questions regarding the exercises before, during, and after classes
- Adjust the layout of the room depending on the number of customers in the class
- Create relationships with customers to establish your expertise
- Ensure new customers sign off on any required forms
- Adhere to safety protocol and maintain certifications
- Avoid giving advice you are unqualified to give (e.g. medical)

BROWNIE POINTS
- Prior experience as a Personal Trainer
- Certifications / experience in multiple class types and styles
- Certification in nutrition coaching
$50/hour
