As a Team Speed coach, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of sporting talent. Your outgoing, upbeat, highly energetic, confident, positive, and motivating personality will be instrumental in creating an environment where athletes thrive. Additionally, your self-motivation to build clientele, coupled with your ability to collaborate with our administrative team, will ensure the continued success of our programs. High-quality customer service skills and proficiency in performing simple administrative tasks and working with scheduling software are essential components of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Immerse yourself in the Team Speed culture from day one, becoming an integral part of our close-knit team.
- Design and execute comprehensive youth sports performance training programs encompassing speed, agility, strength training, injury prevention, flexibility, and pre and post-game recovery.
- Employ innovative training methodologies to unlock each athlete's full potential, fostering their journey to perform at the highest level desired, including programming, implementation and evaluation.
- Conduct training sessions across various settings, from one-on-one sessions to large team workouts, ensuring personalized attention and optimal results.
- Collaborate closely with athletes, parents, and coaches to align training objectives and foster a supportive, goal-oriented environment.
- Maintain open communication with management and fellow team members, contributing to a cohesive and collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrate unwavering reliability and accountability in all aspects of your role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Preferred certification such as CSCS or similar.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in strength and conditioning coaching.
- Experience in leading large group or team training sessions preferred.
- Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week Mon-Fri and at least one weekend day.
- Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and adhere to non-compete and conflict of interest agreements.
