Our fitness studio is rapidly expanding, and we need a personal trainer to assist our clients in reaching their fitness objectives. You'll be working with clients to assess their fitness levels, develop customized training routines, and ensure they're using equipment safely. This position requires excellent customer service skills as well as a passion for fitness and assisting others with their health and wellness. We have openings at both our Allen & Frisco Locations for both Part Time & Full Time!

Compensation:

$45,000 - $60,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Perform personal fitness assessments to ensure that all exercise routines are appropriate for each client
  • Hold yourself and your clients to the highest standards of conduct and safety
  • Customize training routines to assist clients in achieving their fitness goals while staying within their current physical capabilities
  • Revise fitness plans based on clients’ progress toward set goals
  • Reduce the risk of injury by teaching clients good techniques for all activities, particularly those involving more advanced equipment

  • Create and demonstrate safe and effective resistance training and cardio programs for clients according to their fitness level and goals
  • Update and review client files, prepare for upcoming workouts, and proactively schedule client re-assessments and goal-setting sessions every 4 to 8 weeks
  • Continuously strive for excellence in delivering the IPT Experience
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic while going above and beyond for both clients and team
  • Hold clients accountable to follow through towards reaching their goals while communicating with them in a professional and friendly manner
  • Demonstrates a strong focus on putting the client first with exceptional customer service experience
  • Be detailed in tracking client progress and goals
  • Motivate and coach 25+ sessions per week

Qualifications:
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must possess a current certification as a fitness instructor or personal trainer
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and other team members
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or Exercise science preferred
  • Nationally recognized personal training certification preferred (ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, etc.)
  • Has a minimum of 1 to 2 Years of programming design and training experience (preferred) and prior experience with leading group fitness a plus
