You will have the opportunity to continue your learning and development as a performance specialist by working alongside the most knowledgeable and recognized Physical Therapy team in the region, emphasizing safety, providing effective exercises that show results, and encouraging fun with exercise.
You will have the opportunity to ensure clients are evaluated for their readiness to begin an exercise regimen and create a personalized training program based on your analysis of their movement, paired with their individual goals. Furthermore, you will be able to provide one-on-one performance training with scheduled clients and develop your skills working with our diverse population including young athletes and older adults. Most of your training will occur in our well-equipped facilities with options for field or off-site training.

What you have to offer:
CPT, CSCS, USAW1 or 2, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Trainer, or equivalent degree or certification.[CS1]
Experience with athletes and the general population as it pertains to programming and training.
The ability to adapt and change exercises based on client experience or pain responses.
Computer skills and attention to detail.
Team-member mentality and adaptable to taking on various tasks.
What we would love to see:
Experience in occupational medicine, population health/wellness programs and/or physical therapy setting.
Marketing skills including creating flyers, social media production, and in-person engagement.
Able to develop and build class or course offerings to the public.
What we provide:
At CPR Physical Therapy and Performance, we work to offer a comprehensive fitness experience for the different parts of the fitness/wellness journey. Our three main focuses include a medically oriented gym, athletic development, and corporate wellness. With each of these focuses, our performance specialists work hand-in-hand with physical therapists to ensure our clients are safe, achieving results, and enjoying exercise.
Duties include:
Performance Specialists evaluate clients’ readiness for exercise, creating, supervising, and updating exercise programs based on clients’ progression and goals.
Program development for various populations from athletes to older adults
Onsite and on-field training as well as class setting environments
1 on 1 and group performance training
Movement analysis, pre- and post-course fitness testing
Front desk/PT aide duties including:
o check-ins
o money collections
o client profile management
o assisting in patient treatments
o maintaining neat and orderly environment
Schedule:
Monday to Friday with possible weekends/holidays as needed. Currently open from 6am to 6pm M-F. Pay is non commission based and hours are fixed.
