Job Summary:

As the Benefits and Payroll Specialist you are responsible for the administration of all Valir benefit and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) plan, and employee leave of absence coordination. This position will also play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for selected divisions within Valir. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills as well as following all relevant laws and regulations. This position requires direct interaction with employees and external vendors, while playing a significant role in the internal operations of the organization.


Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience:

  • Associates degree in HR or related field, but experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for the education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration & payroll.
  • Paycom experience preferred.
  • Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
  • HRCI or SHRM certification credential preferred.
  • Have a high level of accountability and strong attention to detail.
