JOB SUMMARY

The Patient Access Quality Assurance Accounts Coordinator is responsible for working Patient Access Question Status (QS) accounts, leading and managing quality assurance around identified risks, designing and implementing controls, recommending process improvement, and driving accountability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Others may be assigned.

  • Completes Patient Access Question Status (QS) accounts based on work-list assignment
  • Communicates with patients/guarantors, insurance companies and/or hospitals to resolve QS accounts
  • Ability to take ownership of client issues and collaborate with internal business partners (Revenue Cycle) to drive process improvement to reduce QS
  • Provide statistical data via reporting to Patient Access, Centralized Ops and other clients as identified
  • Ability to foster and nurture client relations to drive process improvement

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

  • High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Some college, 4 year college degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in healthcare administration with at least 2 years of experience in Patient Access and or Patient Access Quality Assurance strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefit Information

Compensation

  • Pay: $15.80-$23.70 per hour.
  • Conifer observed holidays receive time and a half.
