The Exercise Coach® - Sandy is seeking a Part time Exercise Coach.
No fitness experience is necessary as all training, study, and certification will be provided prior to starting. However, candidates with experience in personal training, small-group fitness instruction, or nutrition can be helpful.
We are looking for someone passionate about health and fitness who loves seeing clients be able to overcome challenges and maintain a functional life. The ideal candidate is energetic, outgoing, and comfortable coaching clients of all ages and fitness levels, including those with physical limitations and seniors.
Job Type: Part Time
Pay: $17-$18 per hour
10-15 hours per week.
Currently we are open Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday from 6am-7pm, Wednesdays from 8am-12pm, and Saturday 8am-12pm. Closed Sundays.
Schedule will be determined by the Studio Owner based on the chosen candidate’s availability. Currently looking for candidates who can work 10-15 hours a week.
Ideal schedule:
Mon. 2-7pm
Wed. 8am-12pm- Occasionally
Thurs. 8am-7pm Split shift about 8 hours total
Fri. OFF
Sat. 8am-12pm (1-2 shifts a month)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leading individual and small group exercise sessions.
Tracking fitness results for clients.
Working with a team of fellow coaches to motivate and educate a broad range of client types.
Follow up on lead flow and create relationships with prospective clients.
Administration of client accounts, including the completion of all necessary forms, credit card charges, data entry, and clerical duties.
Respond promptly to all email correspondence, phone calls, and text messages from clients, prospects, co-workers, and supervisors.
Demonstrate a polite, professional, and helpful attitude towards clients and co-workers.
Maintain a cooperative and “team” mentality at all times.
Always remain productive while on the clock.
Demonstrate the value of our brand by actively participating in our fitness program.
Conducting initial consultations.
Selling monthly and package sessions to prospects.
Contribute to and oversee the maintenance of a clean and well organized studio.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Enthusiastic with a positive attitude

Comfortable working with clients with physical limitations and seniors
Model professionalism through appropriate attire, language, attitude, personal hygiene, promptness, honesty, and integrity

Computer and tech savvy
Sales experience a plus
Marketing experience a plus
Available to work up to 20 hours per week
Physical Effort:
Standing and walking, bending and reaching are required most of the day. Pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting is required frequently.

Employee works in an air-conditioned studio.
