Responsibilities:
- Operate a tractor-trailer vehicle to transport wood chips to various locations.
- Safely load and unload tailer at the mill.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safe delivery of material.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of various types of trailers, such as open top chip trailers and live bottom trailers
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

-Ability to cover and uncover trailer with manual tarp.
