Job Overview:

To work with the customer as well as the project team to understand the requirement and test the HCM features
within Fusion HCM.

Job Description:

  • Act as a QA lead, owning the QA activities for an application built using Fusion HCM.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders and support them for testing activities when needed.
  • Define custom test strategy based on the business and system requirements such that the project timelines

can be met without compromising on quality.

  • Write test scenarios and test scripts for application functionalities and End to End integrations.
  • Perform functional testing for an application built on Oracle fusion cloud like the System testing, Regression

testing (including automation), End to end testing etc.

  • Conduct integration testing and verify associated API calls using both manual and automated methods.
  • Participate in customer calls, the requirement gathering exercises, sprint planning / grooming sessions,

sprint review etc. as needed.

  • Work in close liaison with the customer and project team for communications related to the testing

activities.

  • Work with the testing team to lay out the approach so that the application functionalities are tested as soon

as the development is complete, so that no defect gets leaked from the test environment.

  • Monitor the project from process as well as quality standpoint and alert the project manager about the

deviations/risks at the earliest.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a QA lead for one of the applications built using Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Define test strategy and test approach for the application under test to meet the project timelines without

compromising on quality.

  • Perform test planning activities for each sprint and ensure that the testing can be completed as per the

defined test strategy.

  • Work closely with the customer and the project team to understand the requirements, write test scenarios

as well as test scripts.

  • Create test automation script for Fusion HCM Modules.
  • Create and maintain Impact Matrix for every user story in scope.
  • Conduct integration testing and verify associated API calls using both manual and automated methods.
  • Monitor that the defined test approach is followed, and the tasks are completed as planned in the sprint.

Raise any risks encountered.

  • Collaborate with the rest of the project team and keep them posted on any risks foreseen w.r.t application

quality.

  • Certify that the features getting delivered meet the quality expectations from the functional and

performance aspects.

  • Perform test reporting like test progress report, summary report, quality metrics, manage the defect triage

meetings etc. and keep the project team posted on how each sprint is progressing.

  • Identify and implement technical innovations that add value and improve the testing processes.

Additional Information/Specifics:

  • The candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and be team oriented.
  • Innovative in proposing/implementing new ideas/processes.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting, should have proactive approach to resolving issues and working with

limited supervision.

  • Ability to quickly learn new testing tools/technology and implement it effectively..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
