When you join us as a National Payer Database Administrator, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
You Will:
- Work closely with Contracting and Special Bill teams to maintain all contract and fee schedule updates.
- Understand contracts to identify payer rates.
- Calculate and create fee schedules for timely upload into NPD.
- Interact with Revenue Cycle Operations and RIS teams to update NPD with new payers and insurance codes to align all systems.
- Track and log payer rates needing yearly updates.
- Import EOB extracts from the billing system into NPD.
- Add new sites and practices to NPD.
- Run Revenue Reports and create monthly summaries for Management review.
- Communicate rate changes to the RO Systems team in order to keep rates aligned in Imagine and NPD.
- Manage user access for NPD.
- Collaborate with the development team to streamline and enhance the user experience.
- Provide training to other departments and individuals as needed.
- Participate in conference calls as needed.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:
- High school diploma required.
- Successful completion of some college coursework or a college degree is preferred.
- At least five years of experience in a health care administrative environment.
- Understanding of payers, contracting, insurance types and classes, CPT codes, modalities, fee schedule structures, and various health care regulations.
- Knowledge of revenue cycle process.
- Ability to read, understand, and ask questions for clarity on contracts.
- Proficiency in using a personal computer and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to understand how different systems and platforms interact with the National Payer Database.
- Knowledgeable of the proprietary nature of fee schedules and associated contracts and adheres to company policy regarding the release of any/all information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Exhibits effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a high-level of integrity, confidentiality, business ethics, a strong depth of knowledge, and a pro-active approach to customer service.
Pay Range: USD $48,000.00 - USD $59,000.00 /Yr.
