Database Management Analyst II
Contingent upon Contract Award
Purpose:
  • Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Database Management Analyst II who will be key in providing technical support to NAVWAR.
  • Located in San Diego, CA
Job Description:
  • Responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
  • Work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle.
  • Provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and at least 2 years in related experience.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in MIDSVue and/or TopVue or combined two years of experience in two or more of the following areas:
    • Data Management
    • TopVue or similar data management tools, i.e, DOORS, CMpro
    • Web-based-document and data management systems
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Prefer bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business administration or management.
  • Defense Acquisition University Configuration Management training preferred.
  • Prefer Institute of Configuration Management training.
  • Ability to process concurrent tasks and work with other team members to accomplish larger or complex tasks preferred.
Security Requirements:
  • Must have an Active Top Secret DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain one.
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel- less than 10%
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.   • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
