Keystone Compliance is looking for a Mechanical Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our products meet industry regulatory compliance standards, specifically related to mechanical safety and reliability. The ideal candidate should have experience in testing and evaluating mechanical products, and be familiar with regulatory compliance standards and procedures.
The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent character, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. We are looking for someone who can work independently, is self-motivated, and can manage their time effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical safety and reliability testing on our products to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Develop and maintain testing protocols for new and existing products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address design issues related to mechanical compliance
- Conduct statistical analysis of test results to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing procedures and results
- Assist with the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience working in a mechanical testing environment
- Familiarity with mechanical testing techniques and equipment, such as vibration testing, shock testing, and environmental testing
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Familiarity with regulatory agencies such as UL, CSA, and CE is a plus
