With access to voluminous data and advanced tools, you will generate critical insights and drive cross functional business actions globally. Your role will focus on improving both customer experience as well as operational excellence for Foot Locker’s global omni channel fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
  • Scale and enhance Foot Locker’s Network Design (specifically Coupa/Llamasoft) competency for strategic network design decisions and capital investments.
  • Apply advance analytics for inventory flow and placement decisions to reduce cost to serve and improve service levels.
  • Actively explore data for supply chain optimization use cases, develop statistical models, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Conduct detailed quantitative as well as qualitative data analysis to develop hypotheses and build business cases to inform strategic tradeoffs and decisions pertaining to omni channel supply chain functions.
  • Support supply chain network modeling exercises to identify gaps in the current network and recommend strategic investment opportunities.
  • Build easy to interpret data visualizations to drive data adoption and monitor business performance.
  • Provide internal consulting for application of data/analytics across the many global supply chain operations teams.
  • Support programs for driving incremental CX and productivity gains through supply chain data insights; setup and execute pilot tests based on data and perform statistical significance and lift measurement.
  • Develop compelling presentations and effectively communicate findings on key trends, insights, and implications while aligning stakeholders against specific action plans.
  • Partner closely with Foot Lockers’ cross functional teams including enterprise data, global supply chain, allocation and store operations for data driven business actions.
Qualifications:
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as industrial engineering, computer science, math/statistics, etc.
  • 4+ years working in strategic teams, with at least 3+ years of experience in hand-on data analyst/scientist roles.
  • Ability to leverage big data sets to identify opportunities, develop strategic insights, and create business consumable data assets.
  • Expertise in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or comparable.
  • Expertise of statistical programming languages such as R and Python.
  • Expertise in SQL
  • Expertise in supply chain network modeling tools such as Coupa/LlamaSoft Supply Chain Guru
  • Strong understanding of data foundations and analytics
  • Knowledge of supply chain operations in retail or another multi-unit sector
  • A pro-active and self-motivated approach to problem solving which includes curiosity and passion for customer experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deal with complex problems and present recommendations and findings in a clear, concise format.

Benefits:
The annual base salary range is $90,000 - $125,000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
